Tomytec adds a modified model of the U.S. military's prototype armed UGV "MAARS" robot to their 1/12-scale "Little Armory" series! The concept is a self-propelled heavy machine gun. A large-caliber machine gun has the firepower to deal an effective hit, but it is very heavy and cannot be carried freely by the designated defense school students. This "Caliber Carrier" is the realization of the defense school students' wish that "It would be great if a heavy machine gun could move by itself." By adding a targeting sensor, it can be operated by remote control only. In the future, autonomous combat by AI programs and multi-platform support are being explored. Kushii Maho, a designated defense school student who participated in the test operation, nicknamed it "Walking Chopper-kun" and loved it because of the way it followed the gunner around!
